WHAT IS A GEOGRAPHIC ISSUE? A Geographic Issue is an issue that involves both people and the environment( example: coastal erosion or deforestation). People also have different perspectives about the environment, perception is a way of thinking or viewing( example: spiritual, environmental, indigenous, sustainable, economic and historical) WHY IS ULURU AN GEOGRAPHIC ISSUE? Uluru is an geographic issue because both people and the environment. The Aboriginals believe that tourists shouldn't climb Uluru because it's sacred to them, this is a Spiritual and Indigenous perspective. Tourists want to climb Uluru because it's a tourist attraction and it known worldwide, this is from a historical and economic perceptive. |
